The Kyoto Imperial Palace

The Kyoto Imperial Palace was the palace and residence for the Emperor of Japan situated in Kyoto. It was located in the Yamashiro province during the late Sengoku period.

History

In 1585, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Tsuyu returned the Imperial Regalia back to Emperor Ōgimachi at the palace. After handing the Regalia to Ōgimachi's servants, Naoe and Tsuyu finally succeeded in their mission from former Emperor Go-Nara to safeguard them. Before leaving, Tsuyu promised to go back to their home and rebuild while Naoe headed back to her current home to be with her league.[1]
