Karonhiakèn:iate'

Karonhiakèn:iate' was an Iroquois village in northeastern Vinland. The settlement's leaders were known to be Konwahawíhshon and Karonhiaktátie'.
History
In 875, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan found the settlement, west of the mountain top, Tiotenontatierénhton, after tracking a Norse man called Olav the Unlucky for information. Eivor ventured into the settlement, where she was met with the leaders, Konwahawíhshon and Karonhiaktátie, who stopped her from going further. Despite the language barriers, the village leaders saw Eivor's connection with her raven, Synin, and allowed passage. Konwahawíhshon soon led Eivor towards the cave behind the waterfall, where Eivor saw and heard ramblings of a fellow Norse. There, Eivor found and talked with Olav about her target, Gorm Kjotvesson. Olav divulged that Gorm resides in one of his camps and that the current village trades war wares for iron ores.[1]
After finding and assassinating Gorm,[2] Eivor traveled back to Karonhiakèn:iate to ensure Olav of Gorm's demise. Afterwards, Eivor and Olav joined the night gathering, where Konwahawíhshon was telling her story to her people. After her story, Konwahawíhshon gave Eivor the chance to tell a story, which was about Loki's betrayal to Odin, as he killed Odin's son, Baldr. After the storytelling, Eivor gave the Crystal Ball she took from Gorm to the village leaders and then bid them farewell.[3]
