"Horus bestow everlasting life upon the most trusted clerk Amenhotep. When it came time to serve his lord into the Reed Fields he did so willingly. He was bestowed with strength, endurance, joy, health, and all happiness."
―Inscription on a scroll next to Amenhotep's mummy[src]

Amenhotep was an Egyptian man who served as the most trusted clerk of the Nomarch Tefibi III.

After his death, his body was mummified and buried in a chamber in the Nomarch's tomb in the Black Desert. Years later in the mid-1st century BCE, his mummy was found by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa.
