Juan Borgia the Elder

Juan Borgia was one of Cesare Borgia's three generals who ruled over Rome during the rule of their father Pope Alexander VI and a member of the Templar Order. He was the Templars' treasurer under the rule of his brother and his father the Pope and wore a cardinal's robes. He was a ruddy-faced man with flaming red hair.

Biography

In 1499, Juan accompanied Cesare, his sister Lucrezia and his fellow generals to Monteriggioni to lay siege to the Auditore family's headquarters. After the gates had been breached, the group entered, with Juan holding Caterina Sforza captive. They returned to Rome after this.

  • In real life Juan was murdered in 1497.
