Jorakuji Temple

Jorakuji Temple was a Buddhist temple adjacent to Kanki Castle in Harima, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke broke into the temple grounds and found Koshiro nearly beaten and killed by Seiji. When they intervened, they fought against Seiji and bested him in combat. Realizing that Seiji followed Bessho Harumasa's cause, Koshiro gave the pair the decision to decide Seiji's life. The pair decided to spare Seiji due to his friendship with Koshiro. However, Seiji left and renounced his friendship to Koshiro, who said his final goodbye. Koshiro thanked them for sparing his friend before he left for Miki Castle to save his fellow deserters.[1]
