Jonathan Hawk was a descendant of the Alaman Assassin Accipiter, and in 2012 went into the Animus to relive the memories of his ancestor.
While in the Animus, he was forced to relive the 259 b.C battle between the alamans and the roman legions in Aube. After winning the battle, the Alaman Assassin Accipiter talked with Cuervo about his plans. When they agreed they should threaten the prefect, his nurse unplugged the Animus to let him rest for 2 hours as a longer session could be dangerous for his mental health.
Later on, he visited Desmond and the other assassins to ask them for the "Folder Nº24" that Stella Crow had given to Desmond. Finally he discovers he is a distant cousin to Desmond and, when he sees the folder, he guess the destination of his mission.
