Marshal Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau (1725 – 1807) was a French nobleman and general.

After the Battle of the Chesapeake in 1781, he and George Washington besieged Charles Cornwallis in Yorktown.[1]
