Marshal Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau (1 July 1725 – 10 May 1807) was a French nobleman and general.

After the Battle of the Chesapeake in 1781, he and George Washington were ready to besiege Charles Cornwallis in Yorktown.[1]
