Ilario Lombardi was a social outcast in Renaissance Italy. He was violently attacked by Assassins and was left heavily scarred, as well as being traumatized for life.

His genetic memories were later used by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, for the training of their Animus recruits, under the title of the Pariah.
