Hermes' Kerukeion
Hermes' Kerukeion was a legendary staff obtained by the misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War.
Attributed to Hermes, the god of trade, trickery and sports in Greek mythology, Kassandra was given the staff after helping Hippokrates to free a group of slaves held captive at the Melanippos' Camp.[1]
