Helgi was a Norse man who lived during the 9th century. They were one of the people who made the crossing to Vinland, where he operated the makeshift tavern in Nyhorn.

When Eivor Varinsdottir traveled to Vinland in order to search for Gorm Kjotvesson, she eavesdropped on a conversation between Helgi and Aud, learning about Olav the Unlucky's disappearance.[1]
