Alligators are a species of reptilians native to the lower regions of the United States and China. They are closely related to crocodiles.

American alligators can be found throughout the Louisiana Bayou and are very territorial, becoming aggressive when they feel threatened. During the latter half of the 18th century, the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré collected alligator eggs scattered throughout the Bayou.
