Harpe of Perseus (Odyssey)
This article is about the harpe used in 5th century BCE Greece. For other uses, see Harpe of Perseus.

The Harpe of Perseus was a legendary sword claimed to have belonged to Perseus, the legendary founder of Mycenae and a hero in Greek mythology. It had properties similar to Isu artifacts such as the Sword of Damokles and the Staff of Hermes Trismegistus.
This particular sword was used by the various incarnations of the Writhing Dread, a gorgon created by the Isu as part of the Olympos Project. By the Peloponnesian War, the sword was held by Ligeia, the latest individual turned into Writhing Dread. After killing her, the misthios Kassandra claimed the sword for herself.[1]
