Gerolamo Olgiati

Gerolamo Olgiati was a Milanese government official, the assassin of Galeazzo Maria Sforza, and a member of the Knights Templar.

On December 26, 1476, Olgiati, along with his fellow assassins Giovanni Andrea Lampugnani, Lampugnani's servant Franzone and Carlo Visconti attended Mass at the Santo Stefano. After Lampugnani delivered the first blow to Sforza after the latter's arrival, the others followed him. All assassins except for Lampugnani managed to escape, only to be caught and executed within one week.
