Galina Voronina

Galina Voronina is a Russian member of the Assassin Order, as well as the daughter of an Assassin scientist who succeeded in constructing her own Animus inside an old Assassin laboratory, located in Protvino, Moscow.

However, by March 2014, Galina's mother had gone insane – she claimed she was speaking to Eve – and forced other members of her cell into the Animus, which subsequently drove them mad through the Bleeding Effect. With her mother having sealed herself inside the lab, Galina made contact with Gavin Banks and his two team members, Emmett and Emmanuel Barraza, on 16 March.

Requesting the trio to assassinate her mother, they accompanied her back to Protvino, where she effortlessly killed all the Assassins driven mad, and then ended her babbling mother's life as she lay on the Animus.

Trivia

  • Galina is derived from the Ancient Greek galene, meaning "calm". It's also used as a Russian variant of Helen, a Greek name that means "shining brightly".
  • Among the Assassins that Galina killed in Protvino, one was noted by Emmett to look exactly like her.
