Florin

Florin (symbol ƒ) was the standard unit of currency minted and used in Florence, Italy during the Renaissance.[1] It was also widely used in Rome in the same period.[2]
Behind the scenes
The value of the florin as shown in game is wildly in accurate with the historical value being equated to several hundred to a thousand United States dollars in today's currency. In game however the value is much lower than this.
