A fire bomb was a lethal explosive device which sets a person's enemies ablaze when thrown. It was utilized by both Greek and Egyptian soldiers of the Ptolemaic Kingdom as a tool in their weaponry.

History

By the late 1st century BCE, soldiers of both Roman and Egyptian military backgrounds utilized the bombs as part of their arsenal. Through his quest against the Order of the Ancients, former Medjay and founder of the Hidden Ones Bayek of Siwa added the fire bomb into his weapon cache.[1]

Behind the scenes

The fire bomb is a tool in Assassin's Creed: Origins (2017). They are unlocked throughout the main story by upgrading the player's abilities.
