Fergal, also known as Fergal the Faceless, was a flyter who lived in Grantebridge, England during the 9th century.

During the 870s, Fergal encountered the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir and challenged her to a flyting challenge, which Eivor won, with Fergal running away when he could not think of a finishing blow.^[1]
