- "My father taught me every intricate detail of the Assassin heritage. While my brother was off wasting time in the streets, I honed my skills. If we’re to take this city, it will be by my blade."
- ―Evie Frye.
Evie Frye (1847 – unknown) was a Master Assassin of the British Brotherhood active in London during the Victorian era, and the elder twin sister of Jacob Frye.
Originating from Crawley, Evie and her brother moved to London to overthrow the oppressive establishment and help the poverty-stricken masses.[1]
Alongside Jacob, Evie led the Rooks, a criminal syndicate opposing the Templars. Unlike her reckless and rebellious brother, she was a level-headed individual and a master of stealth.[1]
Equipment and skills
- "If none can match my skill, it is only because I’ve out-planned and out-smarted the rest."
- ―Evie Frye.
A Master Assassin proficient with the Hidden Blade, Evie was able to assassinate her targets skillfully and stealthily. As the carrying of weapons openly was forbidden at the time, she relied on an arsenal of hidden tools, which included a cane-sword and throwing knives.[2]
Trivia
- Evie's name is of biblical origin, being an alternate form of Eve, which means life. Frye is a derivative of the English word free.
- Evie is the first playable female character in one of the Assassin's Creed franchise's main entries and the third playable female character in the franchise as a whole, having been preceded by Aveline de Grandpré and Shao Jun.
