Akros Peak

Akros Peak was an Egyptian rebels' camp and a mountain peak in the Isolated Desert, Egypt.

History

Between 48 to 47 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa aided the Egyptian rebels after finding their hideout in the desert. After rescuing one of their children Istellah from Ptolemaic soldiers, he stole a cart and rode him and Istellah to Akros Peak. There, they reconvened with the rebels at the camp. Before he left, Bayek climbed to the top and oversaw all of the desert.[1]
