Defender's Rest

Defender's Rest was a Frankish military area in northern Paris, West Francia.

History

In 886, the Viking jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan and Elgring Clan's jarl Sigfred led an assault on the area with his warriors to secure a place for his catapults. On top of the rooftops near Defender's Rest, Eivor and Sigfred initiated the attack and killed every Frankish soldier within the area. There, Sigfred managed to prepare his catapults for the planned siege.[1] Through her travels, Eivor found a chest but it was locked upon first look. Searching the area, Eivor found a key underneath the grounds, went to the chest, and opened it as she retrieved the Paladin Chainmail.[2]
