Trivia
- During the 2011 Comic-Con, McDevitt confirmed that Altaïr and Ezio were not related to each other, and further explained that Altaïr came from one side of Desmond's family, while Ezio came from the other.
- McDevitt also provided additional storyline development consultation on Assassin's Creed: Recollection and Assassin's Creed III.
- When asked in an interview where he would like a new Assassin's Creed game to be set, McDevitt said that he would like it to be set in Ireland, especially the last 200 years of Irish history.
- It is believed that McDevitt is in the end of his thirties. He has an album named DCMCDXVIII (published in 2009) which is an incorrect roman number for 1818 (which can be 36, considering his age). However, the first five letters of it are his full name's initials.
