Claire Zhang is a Chinese businesswoman who serve as Director of the Zhawang Corporation, a modern-day incarnation of the Zhang Wei Union. A member of the Zhang family, she was related to Nathan, the leader of the international criminal organization Doom Eagle. She and Nathan both considered the Korean student Noa Kim as a family member.
Biography
In the 2020s, the company had tracked down Noa Kim, a descendant of the Union's founder Edward Kenway who was kidnapped by the Abstergo Industries and the Templar Shimazu Sei. Operatives from Claire's and Nathan's organizations were sent to Macau to rescue him from his captors. At the former Zhang residence, Nathan's thugs were taken down by Noa, who rejected the operatives' offer of rescue. Nathan reminded her of their failed operation at the Zhang residence, believing Abstergo would be taking precautions against them. Claire reluctantly agreed and asked Nathan to keep the operation a low profile, to which he laughed and said it would be easier said than done.[1]
