Channeled Cinquedea

The Channeled Cinquedea is a short blade obtainable in Assassin's Creed II and Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. In the latter game, however, the player can only obtain the weapon by disarming a guard equipped with the cinquedea.

- during the time the blade was made with the channels in the blade so that the blood would be "channeld" into the grooves and the blood from coming down onto the handle and make it slippery
- also made to be a secondary weapon for a swordsman made with a stout blade it could block other swords and be used to pierce armor and even hack off hands
