Catherine of Alexandria
Catherine (c. 287 – c. 305), also known as Catherine of Alexandria and Saint Catherine,[1] was a Christian martyr. She is the patron saint to the French village of Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois.
Legacy
During the Hundred Years' War, an Isu, thought to be Consus by Abstergo Industries researchers, spoke to Jeanne d'Arc in the guise of Catherine, as well as Saints Margaret and Michael.[2] On 5 March 1429, Jeanne and her entourage stopped in Sainte-Catherine-de-Fierbois to rest, with Jeanne and Gabriel Laxart entering the village's church to pay respects to Saint Catherine. Two days later, after returning from Chinon on the request of Jeanne, Gabriel and the Assassin Jean de Metz returned to the village and retrieved a Sword of Eden from underneath the altar of Saint Catherine.[3]
