Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Cutlass was a powerful sword used in close-quarters combat, and was the personal weapon of the infamous William Kidd.

The cutlass was found in an isolated ruin on Cerros, which the Assassin Connor explored during the American Revolution. He obtained the weapon after he navigated the ruins where it was kept.

Trivia

• The statistics for this weapon are second only to the replica of Washington's battle sword. In this case, it is advised to use this weapon as soon as Connor acquires it, until he possesses Washington's battle sword.
• A glitch may sometimes occur in which the sword will disappear. To re-equip it, Connor will need to visit the Davenport Homestead's armory or a general store, equip another weapon, and then select the cutlass again.
• Occasionally, some officers and Jägers could be seen to have this weapon equipped.
