Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Cutlass
Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Cutlass was a powerful sword used in close-quarters combat, and was the personal weapon of the infamous Captain Kidd.[1]
The cutlass was found in an isolated ruin on Cerros, which the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton explored during the American Revolution. He obtained the weapon after he navigated the ruins where it was kept.[2]
Trivia
- Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Cutlass has unique killing animations, similar to the Dagger of Brutus in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, and Vlad Tepes' Sword in Assassin's Creed: Revelations.[2]
- The statistics for this weapon are second only to the replica of Lincoln's Sword and it is above to Washington's Battlesword. In this case, it is advised to use this weapon as soon as Connor acquires it, until he possesses Lincoln's Sword.
- There's a glitch that the sword disappears at times. The Sawtooth Cutlass returns back to the manor, but the player cannot equip it unless the player switches for another sword or heavy weapon.
