The Calves' Head Club was an English secret society[1] purportedly established to ridicule the memory of King Charles I.[2] In the mid-to-late 1800s, a cult inspired by the Head Club was carrying out a series of occult rituals in London, even kidnapping a detective that attempted to investigate them.[1]
