The Buried Head of Medusa was a site of a ruined shrine in Argos, Argolis, Greece.

According to the tradition, when the hero Perseus returned from his battle with Medusa, her head in tow as proof, the head was later found at the site near Argos' agora, in a mound of earth.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the site.[1]
