Lieutenant Maynard,

I am writing to you and not the Captain as it's clear you're the Authority in these Matters. The Pirate Master Gunner has been found. I will secure him aboard your Fleet when it next arrives at our Island.

He remains uncooperative despite encouragement from me. I leave it to you to correct what remains of his Temper.

Commander Cyrus
