I used to work for Abstergo's Project Mnemosyne. I thought I knew everything there was to know about the Animus. It's common knowledge that every iteration of the machine is used to explore a user's genetic memories.
It wasn't until I joined the Assassins that I learned that the Animus Project was primarily a tool to achieve the objectives of the Templar Order, the secret power behind Abstergo.
This might be old news to you. But me? I felt overwhelmed by all the conspiracies and weird shit that comes with life in the Brotherhood. So, I thought I'd share some of my discoveries from what's left of the old Assassin's files.
