Ah, the sweaty chosen one. Maybe Desmond wasn't that sweaty or smelly. I'm really just judging him based on his haircut and his clothes. He was a bartender in New York City. Do the bartenders there smell good or bad? You tell me.
I can't deny that he had a great bloodline. Thanks to him, we got insights into some of the most pivotal Assassins in history. Also, even if he started out as a smelly bartending dirtbag (allegedly!), he did eventually step up, put his life on the line, and save the world from a giant solar flare.
