Despite being a relative of Akechi Mitsuhide, Mitsuhisa cared more about lining his own pockets than furthering his daimyo's cause. During the years when the Akechi clan occupied Tamba, he gained control of some of the region's silver mines by bullying the local mining communities into submission.
