The Feasting Hall

The Feasting Hall was the dining hall and part of Suttungr's throne room in Útgarðar, Jötunheimr.

History[edit | edit source]

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time in Jotunheim, the Æsir lord arrived at the hall with Gunlodr after Suttungr prepared a feast for Havi's arrival. Suttungr soon had Havi address his audience while the Æsir planned to empty the mead in Ægir's cauldron. After completing tasks around the hall, the mead ran out and Suttungr ordered Gunlodr to retrieve more drink from the vault, much to Gunlodr's chagrin. With the vault open, Havi left the hall to retrieve their special mead for his people.[1] When in the hall, he inspected the kitchen and food storage, found a chest, and acquired one of Ymir's Blood Stones.[2]
