Singular vs. plural[edit source]

Why is this considered a single being, instead of multiple? Sadelyrate (siniath) 18:27, September 8, 2018 (UTC)

That's a valid question. The recordings do talk in the plural first person if I recall correctly. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 23:42, September 8, 2018 (UTC)
The recordings feature different people, some sounding more masculine, others more feminine. All the messages are prefaced by a 'pedestal narrator' that states the date and other stuff, ending with "The messenger speaks." All the messages themselves are pretty much first person (I/we), addressing Layla/player/humanity. Sadelyrate (siniath) 15:02, September 9, 2018 (UTC)

The names come from in-game subtitles. In regards to the messenger/narrator, in-game dialogue beats text?Sadelyrate (siniath) 15:16, September 25, 2018 (UTC)

Pardon? --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 15:20, September 25, 2018 (UTC)
In-game subtitles name the messengers as, say "Amun and Amunet narrator". But the intro to each message includes "the messenger speaks".Sadelyrate (siniath) 15:22, September 25, 2018 (UTC)
