The Café du Louvre was a café and Assassin social club in the Le Louvre district of Paris, France.

History[edit | edit source]

At some point after receiving stewardship over the Café Théâtre in 1791, the French Assassin Arno Dorian renovated the café with 1,500 livres as a social club for the Parisian Brotherhood. After the renovation, the Assassin Council assigned Arno a mission to assassinate Jean Gilbert, a Templar who exposed an attempt by a group of friends of Mirabeau to free Marie Antoinette before her execution.[1] Later, Arno was instructed to investigate the existence of the "Black Office".[2] In 1794, he was tasked with eliminating Andrés de Guzmán, one of the drivers of the execution of the Girondists.
