The Bedale-Gilling Sword was a short sword of golden hilt and decorated blade.
Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relieved Eivor Varinsdottir's memories, modified her Animus and included this sword as part of the shieldmaiden's arsenal.[1]

Behind the scenes
Maxime Durand, one of designers of the update for Ubisoft, said on Twitter that they worked with Sue Brunning, the curator of Early Medieval Europe Collections at the British Museum and a specialist in early medieval swords, on the project.[2]
