Basim was a member of the Levantine branch of the Hidden Ones in the 9th century. Sometime in the mid-980s CE, he met Sigurd and befriended him.[1] In time, Sigurd brought him over to Norway, where he met Sigurd's sibling, Eivor. While in Norway, he was influential in helping convince the Norsemen of the Raven Clan to relocate, and told Eivor of a greater conspiracy by a hidden enemy to control the Norse as well all of England.[2]
