The Claw of the Tides was a ōdachi that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe found a treasure chest in Uchinakao Burrows in Wakasa and retrieved the sword from it.[1]
