Talk:Timeline
We have sources for the things mntioned in this database? Like, Ezio and Altaïr birth is stated, but the time Mario was born and/or made condotiero were fact-checked? -- D. Cello 18:47, January 11, 2010 (UTC)
Federico Auditore da Firenze
All of his links were broken, linking to a certain "Frederico" I've not heard of. Went through and fixed them, linking them to his page and correcting the spelling of his name. AgentValentine 05:26, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
Contradictions
This is the timeline of the Assassin's Creed universe, no? If so then shouldn't we keep the history of this timeline with only what happens in the AC games, or at least not insert historical information that contradicts with information related to AC. For example there are two dates of when Robert De Sable dies, the AC death and his actual historical death. Shouldn't we only put the death in that happened in the AC wiki to avoid such contradictions? -- Altaïr 15:33, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
- Absolutely right, Al. -- D. Cello 15:31, July 25, 2010 (UTC)
Removal of certain facts
This timeline is getting really big. One thing I think is totally irrelevant if for example when Xerxes is born. I don't think that's important to know. The most important date to know is when he was killed, cause this is about the assassin who killed him, not the one who is killed necessarily. If the character appeared in one of the games, that's another story. -- Altaïr 21:53, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
- People are editing this thing so much because of Badges x.x I agree, Al. Only relevant stuff should be kept. -- D. Cello 20:55, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
I think we should keep in account how big this list could become. I mean how are we going to chose what's important or not. You saw me removing that Leo painted the Mona Lisa. But one day I removed many historical facts of Leo's life. Other paintings. Leo who had to appear before court. Other facts which don't appear or are not even metionned in ACII. And there are many historical figures where we could add facts from which we don't even see or hear about. Where do we pull the line, if we allow these things to be added? -- Altaïr 04:12, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
Centuries
Another thing I had in mind is changing the content list. I think we should add centuries and make them into categories for in the contents, so that the list isn't so long and is easier to browse into. -- Altaïr 22 02, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. Centuries as two equals (==) ,years as three (===) and dates as four (====). -- D. Cello 20:56, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
First Disaster
What is that? -- D. Cello 02:08, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
It is referring to what Minerva mentioned at the end of ACII. She said that, with their time occupied fighting the Humans, THCB failed to realize that something bad was about to happen. And so, they didn't have time to protect the planet before, what is presumed to be a solar flare, killed off all but a few of both species. But, wit their numbers too low, THCB died off, with Humans taking over as sole "owners" of Earth. A.J. two 02:15, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
- yeah, I remember that now (thanks AJ). We should create a page about it then. -- D. Cello 02:31, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
- done. At least a stub for expansion. A.J. two 03:02, July 30, 2010 (UTC)
Changing Before Christ and Anno Domini
I've mentioned this before, but does anyone agree with me about changing the timeline abrivations to BCE and CE? I just personally think it would be more appropriate since the abriviation BCE is used in "the Truth" video. Lunatic Enlighten Me 17:18, August 12, 2010 (UTC)

Leonardo joining the Borgia
Leonardo has already joined the Borgia by 1499/1500, so i changed it from 1501 to 1499. (Gameplay video) Cesare to one of his accomplice, "Give me the gun his friend fashioned for us.."

Ezio's Healing 1499
Niccolo Machiavelli doesn't nurse Ezio. He believes Ezio to be killed during the villa attack. (Vatsa1708 10:33, November 16, 2010 (UTC))
- Edit: Niccolo later reveals that he brought Ezio to Rome..

10th October 2012
The date Desmond, Lucy et al went to Il Colosseo shouldn't be listed under Unknown Date, Lucy says the date is 10th October, 72 days before the planned launch of the Eye Abstergo. JohnMoore 00:19, November 22, 2010 (UTC)
Interbreeding
Shouldn't the interbreeding start before the first disaster and the theft of the apple by Adam and Eve? Cause i always thought Adam and Eve were the first result of interbreeding. How could they steal the apple if it didn't affect them less than other humans?
EXistenZ! 10:06, January 6, 2011 (UTC)
You make a good point here but there are two possibilities I see for this:
They [Adam and Eve] 'evolved' either due to gradual immunisation to the POEs controlling powers, or
Adam and Eve may simply have been 'made' wrong by TWCB getting sloppy, Not hard to imagine considering they were lazy enough to create Humans in the first place to do their work for them as tools...
Subject AMDR 15:17, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah i always thought that Adam and eve were results of interbreeding, like one of TWCB had a ride with a human slave. Cause many ancient myths talk about gods and humans having intercourse, with sometimes demi-gods as a result (herakles being the most famous). And then they rebelled against their creators (a bit like how Prometheus stole the fire from the Gods) But it's true, we don't actually know when the interbreeding began. Contents
Isin't there any way to remove the serial numbers from the contents. Or put a period after them. They almost seem to be a part of the dates. Like 6 6th Century be made to 6. 6th Century etc.
Editing the AC Timeline
How are we to edit this timeline if it's locked? (There are some small grammar/style errors I'd like to fix, but it appears I can't.)
