Pyramid of Amenmesse

The Pyramid of Amenmesse was a pyramid constructed by the pharaoh Amenmesse, situated in Arsinoe Nome, Egypt.

During the mid-1st century BCE, the pyramid was pillaged by Ptahmose, a priest and a member of the Order of the Ancients, to fund the war efforts of Egypt and Rome on behalf of his superior, Gaius Julius Rufio.

The pyramid was explored by Gamilat and the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa, during their pursue of Ptahmose.

Trivia

• This pyramid is completely fictional. While Amenmesse was a real pharaoh, he reigned during the New Kingdom and thus was buried in the Valley of the Kings. No pyramids are known to have existed in Sinai, as they were all built close to power centers in mainland Egypt such as Memphis or Thebes.
