Jean-Jacques Blaise d'Abbadie (1726 – 1765) was the French Governor of New Orleans prior to the Louisiana Rebellion.
During this time, he made a deal with the Templar Rafael Joaquín de Ferrer, in which he would remain as governor of the New Orleans provided he supervised the hand-over of the colony to Templars and supplied de Ferrer with slaves and vagrants for a Templar operation in Mexico.
In 1765, the Assassin, Aveline de Grandpré, discovered the coalition between the pair as she infiltrated the governor's mansion, before she assassinated d'Abbadie with a musket.
