Izanami's Salvation was a naginata that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe were approached by Genpaku, who asked the pair to eliminate a group of Oda clan soldiers who were pretending to be yamabushi and killing innocents in the region. Investigating Nyu-Daimyojin Shrine in Kii, they confronted one of these imposters and assassinated him, retrieving the weapon from his effects.
