Turns out I missed an important tidbit:

"From what I've heard, Jacob will still likely qualify as the game's main character. The balance in story missions may favor the brother about 75% to 25%."

That's a bit of a shame. I was hoping for a 50%-50% split, but it seems Ubisoft is still a bit hesitant. Oh well, still excited. I hope they get the sibling relationship right to be honest. They managed it with Ezio and Claudia, but then again, Claudia was often seperated from her brother.
