Augeias was a king of Elis in Greek mythology.
His claim to fame is as the owner of the stable which was so large that it had never been properly cleaned. As part of the labours of the legendary hero Herakles, the hero was tasked to clean out the stable.[1]

- According to some versions of the stories, Augeias was a member of the Argonauts.
