The Assessor of Ma'at

The Assessor of Ma'at was a legendary warrior bow found in Egypt during the 1st century BCE. Inspired by and dedicated to Ma'at, the Egyptian goddess of justice, balance, and order, the bow was believed to possess the goddess' ability to read the hearts of men.

Through an Animus modification, the bow was made available to the Medjay Bayek of Siwa by Layla Hassan, an Assassin who relived his memories in 2017.[1]

Behind the scenes

The model of the Assessor of Ma'at, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins, shares the same model as the Jackal's Gaze, another bow in the same game, and it was recycled as the model of the Bandit Bow, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and its kind.
