An Assassin's Seal is a round, stone seal representative of a legendary Assassin, marked with a weapon characteristic of them. The 6 seals are required to obtain Armor of Altaïr, which is locked in the Sanctuary of Monteriggioni.
The six seals can be retrieved by traversing the same number of Assassin Tombs, and taking them from the sarcophagi of the Assassins. Once recovered, the seals can then be placed at the pedestals of their corresponding statues in the Sanctuary. Each seal properly matched to its statue causes a corresponding bar to retract into the wall, unblocking the alcove that contains the Armor of Altaïr. Once all seals are placed, Ezio obtains the armor and can equip or unequip it whenever he pleases.
