Assassin's Creed III downloadable content refers to content released separately from Assassin's Creed III and implemented into the game at a later date. The following is a list of all additional content available for the game.
Altogether, the five expansions include a three-part episodic pack for the singleplayer, as well as new maps and Animi Avatars for the multiplayer.

- Benedict Arnold memories (PS3 and PC exclusive, not part of season pass)
- The Hidden Secrets Pack
- The Battle Hardened Pack
- The Tyranny of King Washington
Limited edition content
The following content can be unlocked via special editions of Assassin's Creed III or by downloading The Hidden Secrets Pack:
- A Dangerous Secret - single-player mission
- Ghost of War - single-player mission
- Lost Mayan Ruins - single-player mission
- Captain of the Aquila - cosmetic outfit
- Colonial Assassin - cosmetic outfit
- Sharpshooter - Animi Avatar
- Red Coat - Animi Avatar

Season Pass
A Season Pass is also available for the game, which granted access to The Hidden Secrets Pack a week early. Accompanying this, at $29.99, the pass is 25% cheaper than buying all downloadable content packs separately. The season pass does not grant access to the Benedict Arnold DLC.
