Assassin's Creed is a mobile game made by Gameloft that was released in 2007, alongside the main console game.
Storyline
Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad was a member of the the Assassin's. This faction was at war with the rivaling Knights Templar. Up until the Third Crusade, Altaïr had been the best Assassin in the entire order, though he was demoted after he had failed to assassinate Robert de Sable. To work his way up to his former reputation again, Altaïr had to kill seven high-ranked Templars. This journey took him through the three cities of Acre, Masyaf and Jerusalem. First, he had to kill Sibrand, William of Montferrat and Garnier de Naplouse in Acre. After this, Altaïr killed Vizier Abull Aswad and Tamir Bin Musa in Masyaf. Finally, he killed Maj Aldim and Robert de Sable in Jerusalem. After his reputation was restored, Altaïr found out that his own master, Al Mualim, was secretly a Templar too. To uphold his duty, Altaïr confronted and killed his master.
Gameplay
The game has 8 levels. In them, Altaïr can run, dash, jump, crouch, swing on poles and attack.
Weapons
Throughout his journey, Altair has the ability to use 4 different weapons: his sword, a grappling hook, bombs, and a crossbow.
Sword
Altair has this weapon at the beginning of the game. When he confronts an enemy, he will automatically draw his sword. He is also capable of blocking enemy attacks and dodging them by moving backwards. By pressing 8 when the enemy's health is low, Altair will go behind the enemy's back, and then, by pressing 5, he will kill him with hidden blade. He can also use his sword to move the mechanisms so that he can jump on platforms, or he can use it to be able to use torchs.
Grappling hook
You obtain this weapon on level 3. It can be used to swing on poles or to catch an enemy and use him as a jumping platform.
Bombs
The bomb is a very effective weapon. While fighting guards, it is a lot easier to throw a bomb then to fight with the sword.
Crossbow
You obtain this weapon at some point during the game.
Differences from other versions

- Majd Adinn is called Maj Aldim.

- Masyaf is shown as the Ice crusader's fortress high in the mountains.
- There is no mention of the Assassin's Order.
- The confrontation with Robert is shown as a horse ride and the final fight takes place in Jerusalem.
