:Here's a couple of decent references. The long and short of it is: It's slow, extremely maneuverable, very heavily armed (including a 30mm cannon the size of a Volkswagen Beetle), parts of it are very heavily armored, and it is designed to take a beating and still make it home safe. But simply, it's one hell of a plane! :) SpartHawg948 06:18, February 16, 2010 (UTC) | :Here's a couple of decent references. Hey. Nice you showing up around here. Cross-wiki integration, huh? ;D Seems you and Silent have some unresolved issues, I appreciate your commentary at his page, if nothing helps bringing out who he is.
btw, I readed at your profile that you are a SSgt, but you *really* pilot a Thunderbolt II? That's awesome, man! -- D. Cello 17:37, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, I've been to this wiki a time or two, but when I popped over yesterday I saw some stuff that caught my eye and decided to stay! I just downloaded the Battle for Forli DLC, so I may need to do some research here! :)
- I hadn't intended to make any comments on SilentShadow's page, but then you asked him how he planned to get his walkthrough onto the ME wiki, and I decided to try and be helpful with some advice and well... you saw what happened.
- As far as the A-10 T-bolt II goes, I don't actually pilot one, I'm a mechanic on them, and am assigned to one in particular as it's Dedicated Crew Chief. Not quite as cool as flying them, but still pretty cool! SpartHawg948 22:32, February 15, 2010 (UTC)
Definitely! You keep it running, you must almost be it's Artoo =P
I love aircraft since I was a kid, have models and specs posters till today ^^
Any other crafts you worked at? -- D. Cello 03:56, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
- It's Artoo, eh? I like that! Yeah, I'm pretty big on airplanes as well. I love airshows, and I buy pretty much every copy of Air Forces Monthly magazine I can get my hands on. As far as other planes though, aside from a little bit of working on some C-130 Hercules transports while I was in training, no, I've never worked on any planes besides the A-10. SpartHawg948 04:04, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
XD I saw one of those C-130's upclose, the thing is huge! I always liked the Lockheed planes, specially the SR-71. When I discovered X-Men's plane was a modified Blackbird, I liked it even more XD
Don't know much about the A-10, though, only that it's a successor to the WWII's P-47. -- D. Cello 05:10, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
- Here's a couple of decent references. The long and short of it is: It's slow, extremely maneuverable, very heavily armed (including a 30mm cannon the size of a Volkswagen Beetle), parts of it are very heavily armored, and it is designed to take a beating and still make it home safe. But simply, it's one hell of a plane! :) SpartHawg948 06:18, February 16, 2010 (UTC)
